	Buzios is a very safe and friendly place with a mix of people from Europe and South America. Although English is widely spoken, a few Brazilian/Portuguese words will go a long way. Portuguese may be written in a similar fashion to Spanish but the pronunciation is quite different. Brazilians themselves are easy-going, life loving and happy people who really seize the day so enjoy the hospitality and enjoy “The Place”!
